The space in between the two main volumes is used as a transition space, incorporates all the public areas of the building and functions as mirrored axis of the apartment complex.
The most important types of symmetry are reflective or mirror, glide-reflection, rotational, and transitional symmetry. We decided to establish a Reflection/Mirror Symmetry.
The repetition occurs through a hypothetical straight line, the reflection axis, and creates a mirror image. This type of symmetry plays an important role in all cultures and especially in the Greek architectural tradition.
