The design of the Sports Ancillary Building is be based on the following essential parameters:
Apply similar design principles, ensuring consistency within the overall scheme of the Development. The new facilities conform to the look + feel of the overall site context.
The design of the facilities can service different functions at different times, such as daily school activities, daily practice for students after school, matches and other recreational uses for the public and for that ensures the partial isolation / separation of the spaces for simultaneous operation of various programs.
The transition between indoor and outdoor spaces is be treated with ease of access in a clear and aesthetically cohesive way.
green stands building
The design intent to integrate visually and physically a harmonious sports building, introduced the idea of a green sloped roof, a green folding that produces an uninterrupted landscape and define the Green Stands Building.
The design allows to create supporting spaces below the bleachers (changing rooms, restrooms etc), to expand the landscape and incorporate the bleachers and the building roof and illustrates a similar approach with the green areas of the QFFS. The entire structure features a green roof, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the landscape when viewed from above.
A continuous green roof connects the building to the surrounding landscape and creates a non-accessible garden terrace. Only the first meters of the structure’s sloping roof are open to children and users, offering a space to relax and enjoy.
